CT Scan Technologist Certified

Summary

According to established policies, procedures, and protocols, performs computed tomography procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and assists a licensed practitioner with interventional computed tomography procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
  2. Registration and certification in radiography by ARRT or Certification in nuclear medicine technology by ARRT or NMTCB
  3. 6+ months experience as a CT Scan Technologist or completed documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams
  4. Advanced-level certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in computed tomography within 18 months of hire
  5. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
