Customer Service Manager

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for:
1. Serving as a representative for patients and visitors within the Hospital to enable them to obtain solutions to problems by acting in their behalf with Administration or any other department or service.
2. Investigate, resolve and document patient/visitor complaints and concerns.
3. Function as management's representative by interpreting the Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures, and services to patients, families, and visitors

Education: Bachelors in Business Administration preferred

5+ years of experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Experience Requirements:

Experience in an acute health care facility environment preferred; knowledge of patient care and patient problems beneficial.
Preference for dealing with people: human relations skills (including patience and tactfulness), Must possess ability to work well under pressure, to function independently and dependably, and to be flexible in applying knowledge to a variety of situations.
Experience and basic knowledge of computer software including word processing, ability to learn new software quickly.
