CVOR Staff Nurse

SUMMARY: Works under the supervision of the Director of Surgical Services. The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individualized patient care in the operating room. Policies and procedures for the department are maintained during this period of caring for the patient. The RN accepts responsibility for the direction of co-workers in the implementation of the plan of care.

Required Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited nursing program?
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri

Preferred Education/Training: BSN
Preferred Experience: One (1) year experience in open heart surgical nursing
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: CNOR; ACLS
