Job Description CytotechnologistUF Health Shands HospitalGainesville, FL Open a new chapter of inspired care as a Cytotechnologist at UF Health Shands Hospital, a nationally recognized, 1,162-bed academic medical center located in beautiful Gainesville, Florida.This full-time opportunity will allow you to play an integral role in supporting our Cytopathology teams with advanced specimen evaluation to inform diagnostics. Here, you will be able to:Microscopically evaluate specimens to identify abnormalities.Render specimens to inform diagnoses to cytopathologists.Prepare cytologic specimens for evaluation using best practices and established procedures.Perform recordkeeping.Fulfill the duties of the Cytopathology Supervisor during their absence. We’re seeking candidates with a current or temporary Florida cytology license.
