Day Shift 7:00am-3:30pm
Required to work every 4th weekend for Diagnostic coverage
Compensation: $84,000-$110,000
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles
The Diagnostic Center Supervisor assists the Imaging Director & Imaging Manager in day-to-day supervision of the Diagnostic Center (Cardiology, Neurology Department, & Nuclear Medicine)- including the Team, Patients, Equipment, & Exams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate patient care and treatment plans with cardiologists, nurses, and other medical staff.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care.
- In collaboration with Diagnostic Center Lead Tech, assign work schedules, monitor attendance, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- In collaboration with Diagnostic Center Lead Tech, monitors and performs daily billing reconciliations.
- In collaboration with Diagnostic Center Lead Tech, inventories departmental supplies and keeps stock to appropriate par levels.
- In collaboration with Diagnostic Center Lead Tech, maintains employee files.
- Train new staff members and provide continuing education opportunities.
- Serve as a liaison between staff, patients, families, and hospital administration
- Address patient concerns and improve service delivery.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of cardiology equipment.
- Direct impact on annual budgeting and cost management in Cardiology, Neurology, & Nuclear Medicine.
- Direct responsibility of personnel performance evaluations for Cardiology, Neurology, & Nuclear Medicine.
- Collaborates effectively with Imaging Director, Imaging Manager, Radiology Chair, & Cardiology Chair
- Maintains and updates Cardiology, Neurology, & Nuclear Medicine Policies, Workflows, and Protocols.
Work Experience
- 1+ Years in Cardiology/ Nuclear Leadership
- 3+ Years in Cardiology/ Nuclear Field in one or more of the following roles:
- EKG Tech
- Cardiac Sonographer
- EEG or EMG Tech
- Nuclear Medicine Tech (NMTCB + IEMA)- preferred
Position Qualifications
- BLS
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Desired: Bachelor's degree
