DIETARY AIDE

Position Summary: Performs a variety of routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food; cleans kitchen area and cooking utensils.

Position Qualifications: Preferred Education: High school or equivalent Minimum Experience: On-the-job training Skills: Other Ability to follow oral and written instructions and established procedures Physical Demands: Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs.) Frequent prolonged standing/walking Working Conditions: Exposed hazards of steam and heat Exposed to heat, wetness, odors in kitchen and/or patient areas Exposed to varying degrees of kitchen elements Exposed to noise. Exposed to hot and humid work environment Subject to burns and cuts
