Summary

Provides recommendations and documentation of nutritional information for inpatients and serves as a resource for medical nutrition therapy within the facility. Presents educational material to inpatients, outpatients, hospital programs, and community groups.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Master's degree in nutrition or a related field.
2. Current licensure or license-eligible in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Dietician-Nutritionist. License must be obtained within six months of employment.
3. Current registration or registry-eligible as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Registration must be obtained within six months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

1. One year of experience as a dietitian in a clinical and/or institutional setting.
