Direct Support Professional - Behavioral Health Provides care, supervision, instruction, and support to individuals in accordance with State and Agency guidelines. Ensures the health, welfare, and safety of each individual being supported. Promotes and provides opportunities for each individual to develop and grow towards greater independence. Some of What You Do: Assist behaviorally involved individuals with household management, including shopping, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and all other household chores Provide and support a therapeutic home environment and community experience Provide behavioral supports in accordance with Behavior Support Plan and all other recommended guidelines as appropriate Assist with and participate in medical appointments What You Need: High School Diploma/GED Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 3 year driving history and a driving record which meets the KenCrest Vehicle Safety Policy standards is required . Ability to convey, understand, and follow spoken and written instructions in English required .
