We are seeking a qualified and caring person to work as a Mental Health Technician/Direct Support Professional in New Windsor. Responsibilities Include: Prior experience working with individuals with verbal and physical aggression Protect and honor the rights of people with disabilities Provide training, assistance and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and significant behavioral challenges and mental health conditions Ability to implement plans and training throughout crisis situations and respond to behaviors utilizing positive behavior supports. Assist individuals served in expanding their opportunities to participate in community life as they choose Assist individuals in learning and maintaining skills, having new life experiences and respond to behaviors utilizing positive behavior supports.
