The Director of Clinical Operations/Medicaid DC designs and implements complex clinical programs, leads business and clinical initiatives across the DC market to develop, establish and expand programs that support improved health outcomes for individuals with complex illness.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads strategic planning for clinical model for LTSS populations within the District of Columbia
  • Lead highly complex projects and strategic initiatives across Medicaid populations for those with complex needs
  • Leads design and development of clinical model to support individuals with complex health and social needs
  • Define performance and results and manage vendors and service providers
  • Determine time frames, funding needs, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, allotment of resources to various phases of projects and lead others in the organization to make meaningful process improvements
  • Develop business and program plan plans and cost benefit analysis for assessment by Regional/Senior Leadership
  • Investigate non-standard requests and problems, makes presentations to senior leadership, ensure project documentation is accurate and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
  • Pertinent data and facts will be reviewed to identify and solve issues and mitigate risks, prioritize your team's workload, ad hoc projects as assigned and develop pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Healthcare or business-related field and/or equivalent education and experience
  • 10+ years of healthcare or related business experience
  • 5+ years of experience in HCBS and/or Medicaid LTSS clinical models
  • 5+ years of experience influencing strategic decision making at the senior leadership level
  • 5+ years of clinical product/model design and rollout in HCBS and/or Medicaid LTSS clinical models
  • 5+ years of experience influencing strategic decision making at the senior leadership level
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio
  • Resident of DC - District of Columbia
