Education Instructor- RN (Cardiology)

• JOB SUMMARY
  • Plans, organizes, directs, controls, and evaluates the educational programs for appropriate nursing unit cluster, including but not limited to: community outreach, annual competencies, quality initiatives, orientation, and in-service for professional development. Assists in developing programs to meet the Joint Commission standard requirements for education. Participates in direct nursing care.
• JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing unless otherwise approved by the Director
  • Minimum Work Experience
    • 2 years in hospital clinical setting
      • Cath Lab

Required Licenses/Certifications

• (Please note American Heart Association Instructor certification identifies the employee as both an Instructor and Provider).

    • Registered Nurse
    • CPR Certification
    • ACLS
    • NIH
