Educational Speech/Language Pathologist

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing speech and language therapy services directly to qualifying students based upon state and federal requirements in the areas of language, articulation, fluency and voice. Conducts speech and language assessments of student needs; interprets informal and standardized communicative measures; and participates in the development of individualized educational plans for students with eligible communicative needs.

  • Provides support to students and their team to promote student success.
  • Provide direct services to assist in meeting student success.
  • Provides resources and consultation to assist in meeting student needs.

Education and Experience:

  • Master Degree in Speech/Language Pathology, Communication Disorders or related area
  • Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Education in Speech and Language Pathology.

Preferred Qualification

  • 3 years of experience with children with disabilities in a school or residential setting.
  • Certificate in Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is desired but not required.
