EKG Technician
Job Summary
The EKG/Cardiac Monitor Technician is responsible for providing high-quality patient care related to cardiac monitoring and EKG services. This role involves the accurate placement of leads, identification of basic cardiac rhythms, and the care, maintenance, and disinfection of all related EKG and cardiac monitoring equipment. The technician is also responsible for managing EKG data within the CPACS system and performing patient enrollment for cardiac monitoring services. Collaborate with clinical staff and physicians to support patient care.

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience:
- N/A
Certification/Licensure:
- Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Required within ninety (90) days of start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Preferred
- Completion of a Basic Arrythmia Course
