Job Summary:
EP Tech I is a health care professional that, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified cardiologist, performs procedures on adult patients resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart arrthymias while maintaining maximum patient safety. EP Tech I is primarily responsible for employing imaging techniques, operation of other related equipment and assisting cardiologist during procedure.

Job Description:
40hrs/1st shift- 4 10s 7a-5p.
We're looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated EP Lab Technologist to operate and maintain our radiographic, digital, and other imaging equipment, ensuring we produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment. You'll assist with mapping systems and ablation generators, all while applying safety principles to protect patients and staff. Your role includes acting as the first assistant during diagnostic EP studies, therapeutic ablations, and device implantations, making sure each case is completed smoothly and safely. You'll review patient assessments, communicate important information to physicians, and help ensure imaging and patient safety. Additionally, you'll mentor new team members, support ongoing performance improvement initiatives, and help maintain accurate records of implantable devices. It's important that you can adapt your skills to meet the needs of diverse patient populations. Education, Credentials, Licenses:
- Must be RT, licensed in the state where work is being performed and registered as a RT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Specialized Knowledge:
- CPR certification
Kind and Length of Experience:
- Two year experience as an RT or one year as a Cath Lab tech/special procedure tech.
