Electrophysiology Tech - EP Lab - (EP Lab - EP Lab)


StartDate: ASAP
Available Shifts: 12 D

Cath Lab Tech - EP needed asap for 13 weeks
Shift/Workdays: 8 hour mixed shifts (0800 to 1430, 1100 to 1930) / Shift starts for second shift may alter slightly based upon scheduled volume
Weekend – Discuss during interview
Call Requirements: YES-Currently on-call 12 hours on Saturdays every 3rd week (open to variation)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hrs.
***All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy***

Documentation system: Meditech
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
BLS
ACLS
Documentation system MacLab and occasionally MediTech for reference
Prefer 2+ years RN experience in the electrophysiology lab
Pediatric EP occasionally performed

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)
5yrs experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath/PCI/STEMI
Pediatric (congenital heart)

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
Active TX RN License-Temp License are no longer accepted
Procedures performed on unit:
Diagnostic Cath/ PCI/Structural heart/ TAVR/TMVR
Cath Lab RN: Scrubs Provided by department
Pediatric EP occasionally performed

Electrophysiology Tech, EP Lab
Experience: 2 years
SSN Required
DOB Required
Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year

Documentation system MacLab and occasionally MediTech for reference
