Eligibility Specialist/Financial Counselor

This position will be responsible for helping inpatient, outpatients and answering any questions regarding how to complete a Missouri Medicaid application. It will allow someone to work directly with our patients to ensure the Medicaid application is completed timely and accurately. They will be the subject matter expert regarding how to take, monitor and what to do when approved when a patient is a pure self-pay patient and is in need of medical assistance from the state of Missouri Medicaid. Responsible and accountable to know and understand OZH's mission, vision and values. Reports to the Patient Financial Services Manager.
