EMERG MEDICAL TECH-PARAMEDIC
- POSITION SUMMARY
- A Paramedic who, under the guidance of the ALS Liaison, the Medical Director and the Director of Emergency Services, functions as a Paramedic. This candidate will perform a variety of activities associated with SRMC's Ambulance Service.
- EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Required:
- Graduate of an approved Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic program, with current certification to practice as an EMT - P in North Carolina.
- BCLS certification; recertification required annually. ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications; recertifications required biannually.
- EMS certification (EMT-P) by NCOEMS.
- Preferred:
- TNCC Certification, or other approved trauma course.
- National Registered Paramedic.
- Minimum Required:
