Emergency Medicine Physician

Job Description

• Physician contact hours are equivalent to approximately 1500-1700 hours annually.
• 12-hour shift schedule
• 24-hour hospitalist coverage for admissions
• 24-hour in-house X ray and CT with US on call at night
• Flexible Scheduling, 9-15 shifts a month and schedules posted a year in advance.
• Physician input based on shift availability and your personalized needs.
• Physician will provide specialized medical treatment according to patient needs.
• Physician will manage multiple patients both with serious and non-serious illnesses and injuries including heart attacks, stroke, motor vehicle accidents, severe infections, and pneumonia, and perform assessments, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments as needed to resuscitate or stabilize patients and refer them to the appropriate medical departments.
  We use EPIC EMR (Electronic Medical Record)

Requirements
Ideal candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or graduate of an accredited Emergency Medicine Fellowship program
