Responsibilities

Hours of operation: 8:30am - 5pm

JOB SUMMARY

• Establishes an environment that encourages wellness with a commitment to employee health and safety.
• Broad categories of responsibility include preventive, diagnostic, educational, therapeutic activities.
• The Employee Health Program includes pre-employment physicals, communicable disease histories, illness surveillance, immunizations, TB skin testing, and Blood and Body Fluid Exposure Protocol and follow-up, within the scope and practice of an ARNP.

Qualifications

A. Education/Regulatory Requirements:

o Master's degree in Nursing or has been grandfathered in with Board of Nursing.

o Current Licensure as ARNP in the State of Florida.

B. Skills:

o 1 yr experience as a Nurse Practitioner and 2+ years' experience as an RN.

o Prior experience as an Employee Health Nurse preferred.

o Homecare Homebase software experience a plus.

o Good teaching skills

C. Professional Requirements:

o Excellent communication skills.

D. Language Skills:

o Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
