JOB DESCRIPTION: The Supervisor of Employee Health supervises the clinical operations of the Employee Health function including new hire health screenings, immunization, vaccination programs, BBP and disease exposures and N-95. Responsibilities include data review and trend analysis, program development, policy and procedure development and compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements. In collaboration with key stakeholders, this incumbent will focus on creating education, awareness and prevention programs that support the work of the department and the overall health and safety of our employees.SCHEDULING NOTE: During October and November flu and COVID 19 booster clinics are offered, therefore some weekend shifts may be scheduled.EDUCATION: Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required. The University of Vermont Medical Center is moving toward an all Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) workforce. All external candidates hired into, or current employees promoted to, a RN position will be required to obtain their BSN as outlined in the terms of their offer letter. Current internal RNs are strongly encouraged to pursue a BSN to support this initiative.EXPERIENCE: Three to five years of Employee Health or Occupational Health nursing experience is required with at least two years of leadership experience.BENEFITS: At UVMMC, we support our employees as passionately as we care for our patients.
