We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team in Providence, RI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental assessments, remediation planning, and brownfields redevelopment. This role involves managing multi-disciplinary environmental projects from initiation to closure, ensuring technical quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Develop and oversee remediation planning, design, and implementation.
- Manage brownfields redevelopment projects.
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary environmental projects, including assessment and remediation efforts.
- Perform and oversee all project aspects, from initiation to closure.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Maintain high standards of technical design and QA/QC.
- Develop business opportunities and client relationships.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
- Typically requires at least 8 years of experience; previous project management experience required.
- OSHA HAZWOPER required
- PE, PG, LSP (MA), and/or LEP (CT) licensure a plus.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or GIS preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and environmental compliance.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management.
