Environmental Services Worker (Housekeeper)
- GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- The Environmental Services Worker position involves cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining patient and resident rooms and common areas to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe, healthy environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. Key responsibilities include proper waste management, sanitizing high-touch surfaces and medical equipment, following strict cleaning protocols for sensitive areas, and adhering to all hospital and regulatory standards for cleanliness and infection control.
- EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and write the English language required.
- WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, cleaning agents, and proper sanitation techniques preferred.
- Strong record of dependability for work attendance.
- Must have the ability to work well in a team environment.
Salary Range: $16.00 - $22.40
