Details:

• Part-time, 12-24 hours per week
• Must be availble to work both - 1p-1a; 3p-3a
• Weekends as needed

JOB SUMMARY:

Highly skilled, experienced Nursing Aide/Technician who acts as role model in patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Completion of EMT or Nurse Assistant training course or acceptable patient care experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to function in stressful situations.
• Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire
• Possesses basic computer skills.
• CPI Certification within one year of employment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations.
• Able to hear or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.
• Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Demonstrate adequate vision or correctable with glasses, to read and write.
• Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
• Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.: insert catheters, administer medications, and handle instruments).
• Able to work in a latex burdened environment.
