At Central Carolina Hospital our Cardiac Rehabilitation team is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. How you'll Contribute

An Exercise Physiologist who excels in this roles:

  • Provides care for individuals with cardiac and pulmonary conditions and/or other diagnosis as it relates to reconditioning and exercise management.
  • Promotes healthy living lifestyle for patients, staff, and community of the hospital.
  • Collaborates with healthcare providers for individual's continuum of care.


What we are looking for

Applicants should have a bachelors or masters in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science. Additional requirements include:

  • At least one year experience in coordinating programs of adult's fitness and/or cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation.
  • American College of Sports medicine certified Exercise Specialist is preferred.
  • BLS required within 30 days of hire is required
  • ACLS required within 60 days of hire is required
