Exercise Physiologist
Description
This is a multifactorial position including Cardiopulmonary Technician, Personal Trainer, and Acceleration/Strength & Power Trainer. Responsible for management and care of the cardiac/pulmonary rehab patient to include phase 2, & 3, Wellness Clients, and Acceleration/Strength & Power Athletes. Determines Individual Treatment Plan for each patient referred to cardiac or pulmonary rehab and develops a fitness regimen to help clients/athletes safely achieve their personal goals. Will work closely with physicians and other departments to assure optimal outcomes for each cardiac or pulmonary rehab patients and will maintain a safe, clean, and orderly wellness environment for clients and athletes. Provides patient and community education regarding cardiac/pulmonary care and wellness.
Requirements
- Exercise Physiologist with Bachelor of Science Degree
- Required to be CPR Certified and ACLS Certified.
- If required to use a hospital vehicle, the employee, employee must maintain a valid ND driver's license and maintain insurability with GSHA's insurance carrier.
