We are actively seeking experienced RNs - MNA to joing our team at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital. This Registered Nurse opportunity will support our Emergency Department with cross-training to ICU Department and float to Med/Surg. While specific tasks may vary, general responsibilities include:
- Provides nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Coordinates care planning with other disciplines and supervises other members of the nursing health care team.
We, currently, have multiple openings for experienced RN MNA candidates at 48, 60 and 72 hours per week.
SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates should possess following skills:
- BLS, ACLS for ICU & ED, preferred for Med-Surg
- NRP for OB, preferred for ED and ICU
- PALS preferred for Ed, Med-Surg and ICU
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Candidates should possess one or more of the following:
- Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
- Previous experience in an acute health care setting preferred.
This opportunity is located in Ironwood, Michigan.
Ironwood, Michigan is located on the far western end of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in Gogebic County. Ironwood is approximately 15 miles from the shores of Lake Superior. The population of Gogebic County is approximately 17,000.
While the community is rural, Ironwood has a local airport that keeps us connected to other major airports. Near by cities include: Duluth, MN 110 miles east, Minneapolis, MN 240 miles southwest, Wausau, WI 120 miles south, and Madison, WI 250 miles south.
