POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Escort patients to and from the CT & MRI Department and patient care areas. Operates the processing equipment to facilitate patient flow. Performs clerical duties and procedures relating to in-patient and out-patient work flow, scheduling examinations, and releasing films. The fellow assists the technologist in various technical procedures. Assists in other areas in a non-technical capacity as required.
Maintains a high level of initiative, dependability and motivation. Displays a professional attitude with patients and staff. Communicates effectively. Exhibits knowledge of hospital/departmental developments by attending at least the minimum number of required in-services and meetings.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Have completed 2 semesters of an accredited Radiographic or Ultrasound, preferred, and be in good academic standing.
- Must be currently CPR certified.
Radiology students must have a current Indiana State Department of Health Student License
