Job Description Continuum Rehab Group, an in-house Rehab Management company, is currently seeking talented & motivated SLP's to join the stellar Therapy team at our SNF in Hobbs, NM!! SIGN ON OR RELOCATION BONUS POSSIBLE!!! Position DescriptionResponsible for assisting patients who have illness, injury or disability that affects their ability to communicate effectively in their environment. Addresses issues related to swallowing disorders. Treatment is focused on increasing intelligibility of speech, using alternative or augmentative devices to facilitate better communication of wants and needs, addressing cognitive functions and improving swallowing safety through oral exercises and diet texture modification. Qualifications Highschool Diploma required. Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university. Current state licensure in the state practicing. Experience in long term care or skilled nursing, required. Possess effective communication skills to maintain positive relationship with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and governmental agencies, their representatives and the community. Current knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and regulations.
