Full Desk Recruiter

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Recruiter to join our HR team in identifying hiring needs, support and train our hiring managers in their hiring duties, and work as a part of the HR team to improve the candidate and new hire experience. The responsibilities of a Recruiter include identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation. You should also monitor new and existing employees and act as their advocate.

A successful Recruiter has excellent interpersonal skills, is organized and detail-oriented, remains up-to-date with employment legislature, and keeps informed in company hiring and staffing programs.

Duties would also include the following:

  • Management and administration of our Talent Acquisition & Applicant Tracking systems
  • Assist hiring managers with posting quality job ads and screen applicants as needed for management and executive positions
  • Train hiring managers on how to conduct effective interviews and reference checks
  • Recommend and implement system and process changes to improved the quality and speed of hiring process
  • Work as a contributing member of the HR team at Stellar Senior Living and provide insight, recommendations, leadership and support to the team as needed


Here is what you'll need to bring to the table for this role:

  • Bachelors Degree in an HR or Business Related field
  • 1-2 years in HR or Recruiting - Healthcare preferred
  • Use of staffing tools such as applicant tracking systems, job boards, and social media.
  • Basic level of understanding of HR concepts, policies and procedures - EEO laws and others related to recruitment.
  • Basic understanding of general labor market conditions and healthcare workforce.
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast paced, results-oriented work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management skills, flexibility and willingness to support multiple functional areas, adapts easy to change.
  • Ability to deliver results in an ambiguous environment with capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong influencer.
  • Ability to use good judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities.
  • Basic negotiation skills
