Sterling Medical is seeking a Full time Medical Laboratory Technician to support William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX
Location:William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Qualifications:
Degree: Certificate or associate degree.
Education: Graduate from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or educational program acceptable to the American Medical Technologist (AMT).
Certification: Certification/registration as determined by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or AMT.
Additional Certification: Contract workers shall maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or the American Red Cross. Certification cards must display the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross or other approved certifying body emblem. Web-based (on-line) classes are not acceptable by the Government
Experience: Possess a minimum of one year of experience within the last two years working as a full-time laboratory technician in a clinic, hospital, blood bank, or stand-alone laboratory.
