Job Details:
Pay Range: $60+/hr (depending on experience)
Onsite near Pomona, CA
Full 2024-2025 School Year
Full time positions, 35-40 hours/week
Will send over part time candidates
8/7/24 Start - May 2025
Elementary-High School caseload
Will send over candidate preference of caseload age group
1 or multiple school sites (mileage can be reimbursed between school sites)

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine eligibility for special education services and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Provide individual and group therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, targeting goals outlined in their IEPs.
Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies to support communication skills in the classroom and school community.
Participate in district-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate, cultural responsiveness, and social justice.
Provide training and support to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to support students with speech and language disorders.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Valid California state licensure as an SLP and certification of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Strong knowledge of current theories, research, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Experience working with diverse student populations and demonstrated cultural competence.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
