Gastroenterologist

Job Description:

Our client located in north-central Iowa is seeking 2 experienced Gastroenterologists to join their established independent physician-owned multispecialty group. Enjoy work-life balance with a Monday-Friday schedule consisting of inpatient/outpatient duties. The ideal candidate is BC/BE and ERCP is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities of the Gastroenterology Physician

• Monday - Friday schedule
• ERCP
• Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns
• Performing specialized tests to diagnose patients
• Determining the proper course of treatment
• Perform endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs
• Execute X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning
• Perform surgery in the digestive tract

Minimum Requirements of the Gastroenterology Physician

• Iowa medical license or ability to obtain
• BC/BE in Gastroenterology
• All current certifications
• ERCP preferred but not required
