Grant Operations Program Manager

Under the direction of the Director of Grants, the Program Manger Operations is responsible for successful project implementation and evaluation, management of grant data, contract compliance, and monitoring budgets to successfully spend downs. Successfully manages grants by developing appropriate project implementation practices for various grants with differing requirements. Assures that all grants are conducted in compliance with contractual terms and conditions, and follows appropriate department, grant, organizational, and Federal or State policies and procedures.

Annual Salary Range: $71,032.00 - $104,769.60

Qualifications

Education:

  • Requires a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.
  • A Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.


Experience:

  • Requires five (5) years of related experience which includes experience in grant accounting administration or progressively responsible experience with significant exposure to a full range of billing, data and project management, preferably in a healthcare or public workplace.
  • A Master's degree will substitute for two years of required experience.


Specialized Training:

  • Must successfully complete EPIC software training including Preclude/Cadence for Eligibility Specialists, Preclude/Cadence for Registration, scheduling & referrals, Resolute - finance, and EPIC Work Queue.


Certification/Licensure:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred but not required.
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification is preferred but not required.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of general accounting, EPIC software and work queue, and program management in a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to manage many different activities simultaneously and can re-prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and have flexibility due to changing priorities.
  • Strong customer service, meeting facilitation, collaboration, communication and conflict resolution skills are needed.
  • Must have advanced Excel skills including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
  • Requires knowledge and experience in database management, including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project).
  • Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
