Are you a Healthcare Staffing Recruiter who wants to identify quality candidates and work with them to obtain their dream job? We are seeking a Healthcare Staffing Recruiter who is ready to take charge and grow with our Oak Lawn location. The Recruiter will build lasting relationships to onboard experienced healthcare personnel like RN's (that are experienced in any of the specialty units within a hospital - (ER, ICU, Tele, Med/Surg, OR and L&D), hospice, LTC, clinic, and home care settings. LPN's and CNA's that are able to work part time or full time as agency staff. The Recruiter will work hand-in-hand with our other recruitment team members to build a pool of medical personnel to meet the needs of our clients. The Recruiter will have a team of Credentialers to assist them getting their candidates processed and hired.

Location: Oak Lawn, IL

Salary: Negotiable, TBD based on experience

Very lucrative Commission

Weekly direct deposit payroll

Monday thru Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, variable schedule, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities of a Healthcare Recruiter

  • Provide support to an organization in finding the qualified RN, LPN, C.N.A. & MA candidates for vacant job positions. Also Allied

  • Research for job fairs, job seminars and involve in cold calling, referral recruiting, etc., to get the right candidate. Comfortable with Social Media for local talent: Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.

  • Screen each resume carefully to shortlist the appropriate ones, based on the professional and personal credentials.

  • Manage interview on telephones or personal meeting to figure out the matched qualities, before processing it to the hiring manager or key interview panel.

  • Assist in arranging face-to-face interview with higher management.

  • Assist the managers in recognizing the key skills and competencies of the candidate to make the final selection of the candidate.

  • Check the background of candidates followed by employment reference checking.

  • Assign pre-employment skills checklists and testing.

  • Report to the manager on the status of the interview and selection process.

  • Work according to the rules, regulations and recruitment strategies of the organization.

  • Suggest new approaches towards developing better recruitment policies.

  • Arrange several marketing initiatives in advertising job vacancies through job sites, company website, social media, job vacancy journals, etc.

  • Monitor the need for new employees for a particular post.

  • Suggest effective employee benefit schemes to enhance the organization's effectiveness.

  • Be aware of the healthcare job market trends.

  • Analyze and review the effectiveness of the selected candidates and take corrective steps if goals are not met.
