Medical Oncologist-Hematologist - The William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, Westminster, Maryland
Opportunity:
The William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center at Carroll Hospital is a fully accredited program by the Commission on Cancer and has a full-time opportunity for a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join their well-established team. In addition to daily clinical responsibilities, the physician will partner with the team to guide processes that achieve improvement in the quality of patient care through evidence-based clinical practices and promote an integrative oncology model of care.
- The William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center is a program of LifeBridge Health's Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and is located at Carroll Hospital, a LifeBridge Health center, in Westminster, MD.
- Provides professional outpatient oncology/hematology services to patients in the Cancer Center and on-call consultation services to inpatients at Carroll Hospital.
- The qualified candidate will work beside our board-certified hematologists/medical oncologists, our board-certified radiation oncologist, and our certified adult nurse practitioner in this state-of-the-art outpatient setting.
- This position is supported by a robust, multidisciplinary team including oncology nurse navigators, social worker, oncology dietitian, genetic counselor, financial counselors, onsite radiation oncology and palliative care/hospice services.

Candidate Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of experience preferred
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency
- Completion of an accredited hematology/oncology fellowship
- Possess (or able to obtain) an unrestricted Maryland medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in hematology/oncology
- Prior leadership experience a plus
- Demonstrated interest in clinical trials participation and clinical research
- Participation in cancer conferences, staff education and continuing medical education efforts.
