Housekeeper
Primary Purpose: To clean assigned areas of the hospital and to maintain the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition.
Routine Decision Making: Makes decisions on areas that need cleaning in the absence of the Environmental Services Supervisor.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines; knowledge of waste and infectious waste and chemicals; knowledge of proper use of personal protective equipment.
Unusual Working Conditions: Working with chemicals; risk of blood, body fluid contamination.
Education and Certification/ Registration Required for the Position: High school education.
