Imaging IT Systems Analyst
Job Summary: Responsible for supporting the successful identification, analysis, build, testing, training, install, implementation, security and access, and ongoing support of IT systems and software applications supported by the Imaging Services IT team. These applications include but are not limited to EMR, PACS, CPACS, Voice dictation, transcription and reporting, hemodynamic systems, radiation dose tracking software, orders management and utilization software, and management reporting software. Assist leadership, physicians, staff and other IT personnel in performance of diversified duties required to integrate multiple systems applications within each clinical area of responsibility, including both acute care and ambulatory settings. Provide excellent service to all customers. Maintain regular, effective communication regarding status of activities being managed by the Imaging IT team. Escalate any issues or risks to Clinical Informatics and Imaging business directors immediately after identification and actively participate in mitigation strategy and issue resolution. Work both independently and as part of a team to accomplish all assigned tasks. Mentor other colleagues on the team to ensure successful knowledge sharing is occurring. Maintain system records according to regulatory and legal requirements. Perform other duties as required/assigned for the successful use of supported applications.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university majoring in Information Systems, Imaging, Computer Science or Business Administration required or equivalent years of experience in Radiology and/or Cardiology imaging environment with radiology/cardiology computer related experience required. License/certification such as ARRT, RDMS, RCS, RDCS, CVT strongly preferred. Certification in organization's appropriate EMR application within six months of hire into position required. Thorough knowledge of computer and network systems. Demonstrates ability to solve complex technical problems and coordinate diverse activities. Strong interpersonal skills are required.
