Interventional Radiologist

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to deliver high-quality procedural care and clinical oversight across regional hospital sites. This role offers flexible block scheduling and the opportunity to work within an established, doctor-led practice. Candidates will perform standard hands-on interventional procedures, manage inpatient call, and collaborate with on-site clinical teams using advanced dictation and PACS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of core interventional radiology procedures, including arthrography/arthrograms, fluoroscopic barium studies, vascular access, line placements, biopsies, drainage procedures, and emergent interventions.
• Conduct pre-procedure clinical evaluations, manage post-procedure patient care, and complete daily case lists.
• Provide evening and overnight on-call coverage during scheduled 1-week rotation blocks.
• Utilize advanced reporting tools and maintain high report accuracy through cutting-edge technology integration.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology with Interventional Radiology expertise (VIR Fellowship or equivalent experience).
• Active medical license (or eligibility via IMLC) in Missouri and/or Illinois.
• Ability to satisfy primary source credentialing and supply 2-year procedure case logs.

Skills

• Proficient in utilizing advanced reporting tools such as Rad AI Reporting and Merge PACS.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
