Our client located in rural Central Oregon is seeking a Laboratory Manager to join their leadership team. The ideal provider must be ASCP Certified, Bachelor's degree, and five years of experience.
Responsibilities of the Laboratory Manager
- Oversee the operations of the clinical laboratory
- Develop procedures to ensure safety, quality and accurate results
- Must ensure that all the duties are properly performed and applicable CLIA regulations are met.
- Assist in Budgeting
- Determine Lab Staffing requirements maintaining 24 hour coverage
Requirements of the Laboratory Manager
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related biological science
- ASCP Certification
- Five years of previous Laboratory experience with increasing levels of responsibility demonstrated
