The Intake Coordinator Position:

The Intake Coordinator will determine the eligibility of persons needing home health services by obtaining sufficient information from each referral source. He/she will track all referrals (admissions versus non-admissions) and verify eligibility for all new referrals to make sure our agency is able to bill for services rendered. The Intake Coordinator must maintain knowledge of home care products and services offered by All Heart Home Care and all applicable insurance guidelines regarding eligibility for coverage and reimbursement.

Qualifications:

The Intake Coordinator needs to have previous experience with insurance verification. Must demonstrate a high commitment to customer service and quality standards. Prior experience in Home Health is preferred. Must also have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and professional phone demeanor.
