Behavioral Health Therapist (LISW)

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Provide mental health assessments and counseling to patients and families for the Behavioral Health Services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, and Training

1. Must possess a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work and be currently licensed to practice as a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Iowa, or be under supervision to prepare for examination.
2. Previous social services experience in an acute or outpatient setting preferred.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
4. Ability to learn and navigate computer systems including the online training modules, the employee timesheet and the performance appraisal system. Job specific systems are also required.
5. Must possess the ability to work independently and organize time and tasks.
6. Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.

1. Sitting - Approximately 100% of shift.
