Duration : 06 months to long term
Shift: 6:45AM-7:15PM, 6:45PM-7:15AM, 2:45PM-11:15PM or 11:45PM-7:15AM
Job Description:
- Assist new residents in adjusting to the unit, philosophy, and goals
- Report any accidents or changes in resident conditions to Charge Nurse and document in progress notes
- Discuss clinical issues regarding resident care with Charge Nurse
- Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team to assist with care plan preparation, implementation, and evaluation
- Observe, record, and report resident condition changes
- Update care plans as needed
- Carry out therapeutic treatments
- Administer and dispense medications (excluding IV) and monitor side effects and effectiveness
- Secure and account for controlled drugs
- Maintain nursing care and administrative records and reports
- Attend staff meetings and in-service programs
Required Certificate:
- LPN License.
- BLS/ CPR Certificate.
