Overview:
Our Flu Clinic in Pittsburgh is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to administer influenza vaccines and support the health of our nation's Veterans. This role offers a consistent daytime schedule within a supportive, collaborative clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer influenza vaccines and other authorized immunizations according to established protocols
• Complete patient screenings and review relevant health information prior to vaccination
• Monitor patients for immediate reactions and respond appropriately to clinical concerns
• Educate Veterans on influenza prevention, vaccinations, and post-immunization care
• Accurately document vaccinations and patient encounters in the EHR
• Maintain proper vaccine handling, storage, and inventory procedures
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical quality standards
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to maintain an efficient Flu Clinic

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
• Current BLS certification
• Previous immunization, vaccination clinic, or outpatient/ambulatory care experience preferred
