Locums Emergency Medicine Physician

We are
seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a locums
opportunity in North Adams, Massachusetts. This position is ideal for an EM
physician who thrives in a Trauma Level 3 emergency department, working with a
manageable patient volume and a collaborative team.

• Total Number of Beds: 32
• Annual ER Volume: 55,000 visits
• EMR: Meditech
• Shifts: Flexible, days
  and nights available (Please inquire about specific shift details) 

Job
Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency care in a Trauma
  Level 3 emergency department setting
• Assess and treat patients with a
  wide range of medical conditions, from trauma to non-trauma cases
• Work closely with a team of
  experienced physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure high-quality
  patient care
• Utilize Meditech EMR to document
  patient information and treatment plans
• Participate in medical
  decision-making and collaborate with specialists for complex cases 

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Emergency
  Medicine, or Board Eligibility (within 5 years of completing residency)
• Active Massachusetts Medical
  License (or eligible for licensure)
• ATLS Certification
• BLS and ACLS Certifications
• ABEM Certification or Board
  Eligibility within 5 years of residency completion
