Locums Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

An
exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for a Pediatric Hospitalist
Physician in West Branch, MI. This position provides a mix of inpatient and
outpatient responsibilities, offering comprehensive pediatric care to the
community.

Position
Details:

The role includes inpatient call and rounding combined with outpatient clinic
hours. Outpatient clinic hours are scheduled from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The
physician will manage care for 1–3 babies in the nursery at a time. Although it
is rare, the physician must be comfortable attending deliveries if requested by
the OB team. The practice setting includes inpatient rounding, call coverage,
and outpatient clinic duties.

  7/28 - 7/29 @7 am-@ 7am
• Alpena: 8/22
  – 8/25 @ 7am – 7 am

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved
  medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited
  residency program in Pediatrics.
• Active clinical experience within
  the last 12 months, with case logs reflecting both inpatient and
  outpatient pediatric care.
• Clean NPDB record with minimal
  cases and no pending malpractice issues.
• Board Certification or
  Eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Current and unrestricted medical
  license in Michigan (or willingness to obtain).
• Comfortable managing newborn care
  and rare delivery attendance as requested by OB.
