Sr Operations Analyst Special Project Coordinator - Pediatric Surgery


Position Summary/Essential Duties:

  • Provides strategic and operational support to the Director and Manager of the Center for Child Health and Policy. Provides assistance in information development and management, supporting key strategic initiatives for activities. Maintain confidentiality as directed within and outside of organization.
  • Assists in planning and development, focusing on research, quality improvement and best practices. Develops relationships with key stakeholders in planning process and represent the Centerat the local, state, and national levels to accomplish the Center's goals. Direct participation and oversight of projectsin research, quality research, quality improvement research, policy dissemination and other dissemination as needed, and policy formulation related to key topics in child health policy.
  • Focusing on building infrastructure including standard reporting, and practices including regular financial reporting for grants, contracts, and institutional funding.
  • Act as Operations Analyst on projects including deliverables, and related measures. Assist in building information accessibility solutions.
  • Support development of individual special projects, through activities including literature reviews, data gathering and analysis, and financial performance.



    • Bachelors degree in business, healthcare administration or related field with at least 5-7 years experience or Masters with at least 3 years experience
    • A track record demonstrating an ability to integrate and work effectively with internal departments as well as external organizations to achieve results.

    Experience & Knowledge:

    • 3-5 years experience in a research and/or grants management support role with Bachelors or 1-3 years experience with Masters Degree.
    • Strong understanding of financial, research and operations systems.
    • Experienced with operations, data management, and continuous quality improvement.
