LPN PROVIDER BASED

Position Summary: Provides professional nursing care for patients within physician practice from within the Patient Access Center. Assures that communication with each caller is handles in a professional and tactful manner.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Graduate of LPN program Minimum Experience: Sufficient previous clinical experience Required Certification/Registration: Current LPN license CPR certification Physical Demands: Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients Lifts supplies/equipment Working Conditions: Regularly exposed to the risk of bloodborne diseases Contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances May be exposed to/occasionally exposed to patient elements Exposed to accidents, injuries and illness Subject to varying and unpredictable situations Handles emergency or crisis situations Subject to irregular hours Pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries
