LVN
Position Summary:
The LVN/GVN assists the physician and mid-level practitioners in providing quality care as delegated. This individual is also cross trained to assist in clerical tasks, waived testing and phlebotomy/ venipuncture.
Qualifications:
A. Education: Currently licensed as a Vocational Nurse by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas OR hold a current Texas permit.
B. Training and Experience:
- Minimum of six months experience working as an LVN preferred; one year of experience in an ambulatory setting preferred. Bilingual abilities desirable but not mandatory.
- Current BLS Certification within 90 days of hire required.
- EKG and Cardiac Rhythms knowledge
- Mental Health First Aid-Suicide Awareness Training

Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
A. Ability to perform:
1. Heavy lifting
2. Sustained standing and walking
