Responsible for process design, management and improvement in region.Ensures compliance and alignment with GCD model and regional and local regulations. Collaborates with RCQM in regional QC plan development and supports QC plan execution.Works with reg. and country roles to evaluate and improve regional processes, KPIs and metrics."


Responsible for tracking process and performance metrics. Liaises with HQ for global tools and reports, develops regional tools in collaboration with regional management and CRDs as needed. Runs and develops reports for key stakeholders, ensures regional data is available and accurate in different systems and tools."


Responsible for vendor oversight at regional level and manages regional outsourcing processes. Coordinates and escalates issues with Global vendors to VSM in HQ as needed to ensure MSD regional needs are met. Coordinates with Country POCs to ensure local vendor processes are aligned and shares best practices across region."


Proactively looks for efficiency opportunities in study execution areas. Explores new outsourcing possibilities and needs across region. Proactively detects training needs in collaboration with regional management, ROC and country operations. Supports trainings and workshops for region and countries as needed. "


Coordinates and tracks headcount across region and associated financial forecast."

Master of Science or Medicine (or comparable).
Advanced degree (PhD) possible but not required
10-12 years of relevant experience for a MS/MBA/JD;
6-8 years for an MD-PhD
Working across boundaries / International experience/
Knowledge and application in Lean Six Sigma
Position requires excellent oral and written skills.
Profound understanding of data and metrics, technical skills
