Job Description:
The Manager of Nurse Residency Programs is responsible for organizing, directing and implementing an infrastructure for a systems-approach to the nurse residency and transition to practice programs. This includes support for activities related to residency program during and after StaRN program orientation, growth and development programs in specialty areas, new employee support and rounding, implementation of education programs and tools to support nurses. Manager will provide oversight, curriculum development, and daily management of the Nurse Residency Program for new grad RNs and experienced nurses in transition to practice.This position will perform a variety of quality data entry and management functions that will include data entry, routine database maintenance and standard report generation, verification and distribution
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience in healthcare, education , business or finance
Experience with academic partnership/DEU, Nurse Residency Program management
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products that includes Word, Power Point and Excel; must demonstrate the ability to use spreadsheets to enter, evaluate and modify data
RN license in primary state or compact multi state licensure
Basic Life Support BLS
